I am Kim Cheolyoung, the CEO of Pungjin Industry.
Since the establishment in 1997, Pungjin Industry has been devoting itself to heat treatment and heat treatment furnace tech development as the leader of the domestic heat treatment industry.
In this era of high oil prices, there is an urgent demand for energy-saving, automated and advanced products in the overall industry and, in particular, for industrial heat treatment furnaces that use high heat and energy, such requirements are critical.
After much effort and consideration in the past years, we realized the urgent needs mentioned above and developed our own heat treatment furnaces with our own technologies, not foreign technologies. After various tests, we were able to apply for patents at the same time as we exported to many Southeast Asian countries. As a result, we are now able to manufacture a vacuum heat treatment furnace that can save significant power costs for each vacuum furnace compared to existing vacuum furnaces.
As a result, Pungjin industry began to aggressively sell its products such as energy-saving type vacuum heat treatment furnaces and vacuum gas nitration furnaces to the domestic market.
In 2016, we successfully developed hydrocarbon carburizing furnaces with our own technology, and in 2019, we started delivering them to the ROK army maintenance depot, and the products are currently in operation. We are now preparing for sales of the next generation of vacuum carburizing furnaces and have also already applied for a patent.
In particular, our vacuum carburizing furnaces are futuristic and eco-friendly products that focus on oil cooling, and we expect a good market reception when we export them overseas and sell them domestically.
Japan, the leader of heat treatment technology, is keeping an eye on our heat treatment furnace technology, and we as Koreans feel very proud. Although it has not been long, our delivered products have been successfully integrated with the environment of client companies through steady tech development and periodic and speedy post management.
